An Inward Path to Wellness

It has been said there is no one sure way or a short cut or a “silver bullet” to an inward path to wellness or achieving unity of “Spirit-Mind-Body”. Some call it “sadhana”, some meditation, and others by various means, names and forms. In fact, some say it is actually a “journey from yourself to your Self”.

One basic fundamental fact does remain and that is the starting point which has withstood time immemorial with two basic questions; 1) “Who Am I” and; 2) “What Do I Want”. Just like snowflakes, each and every person is unique and special in their own way and the applicable inward path to wellness so also follows each person’s own specific makeup.

Whatever the culture, tradition, norm etc., the tangible answers to the above two questions in itself can be a good initial step in a person’s quest for embarking on the journey or the inward path. For some, it may be a near-term, short-term, or even long-term process.

Once we know, realize, and/or experience; 1) “Who Am I” and; 2) “What Do I Want”, a lot of roadblocks to wellness can be clearly identified, understood, and appreciated. In addition, an effective course of corrective action can be determined to overcome any such roadblocks thereby leading to effective results and achieving goals on the path to wellness.
